Freightliner Northwest is looking for a candidate to join our Outside Parts and Service sales team in Coburg, OR. The Parts & Service Outside Sales Representative is responsible for providing the parts needs of wholesale and fleet customers in the customer’s place of business, in addition to promoting service available through our service department.

Helping customers satisfy their transportation needs since 1986, GTC is an expanded network of 15 dealerships doing business as Freightliner Northwest, Western Star Northwest, and Freightliner of Hawaii. Job Summary:

Education: Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Experience: 2-4+ years of experienced in parts sales. Experience with heavy duty truck parts required. Experience with customer needs assessment and satisfaction, knowledge of methods for showing as well as promoting and selling products or services.

Skills: Knowledge of heavy duty truck parts and equipment. Must be professional and safety minded at all times. Dependable, motivated and a quick learner. Excellent communication both verbal and written, listening skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction.

Other: Must have valid driver’s license and insurable and be able to support and sustain daily vehicle travel requirements.

Environmental Demands: Indoor and outdoor work. Some noise while working around operation departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM
